web prototypes

WinWeb interface redesign
This interface uses high contrast to visually enhance the clean look and straight lines of the design. Being an internal Microsoft website, it makes heavy use of Internet Explorer animated filters and CSS2. The menu system is modular and uses heavy DHTML. Users could filter their preferences which would update in real time and remember their settings upon return. This is just a one-page demo, so the links don't go anywhere.

Note: This page was created years before Firefox, and only works with Internet Explorer.

Surety Claims
This project was the first generation of what would become Safeco's eXclaim and ClaimTrak products for their Surety insurance products.

The surety insurance business bonds construction work frequently, so an industrial theme was picked for this prototype. The framework was built using IFRAMES, which keeps the interface consistant while inner content loads and changes.

It has some interesting interface features, such as a "busy light" when data is retrieved, animated visual filters, a dynamic help window, and heavy use of CSS. This prototype was developed further with database-driven content.

eXclaim interface demo
This is an early interface demo for a claim tracking application in Safeco's Surety department. The project eventually took a different direction with different functionality (and eventually a different name) so the name, logo, and interface was scrapped.

An earlier version of this menu system can be found here.
