business card designs

Fiery Black design
The center of the card is made the focus of attention by using bright vivid colors. The logo is then framed with black borders to provide periphory information, which does not distract the eye from the center. This design offers a sure instant reaction without having to read all the business information. The background is a closeup shot of a motherboard, with noticable circuitry lines to subtley edify the computer-related profession.

Straight-to-Business Corporate Card
This company needed a no-frills straight-to-the-point business card with a custom logo. As part of their design suite, these business cards were created, using the standard color palette created for them.

Cool Reliable green
Reliable Systems is a computer consulting firm specializing in network solutions. He needed a professional image and logo, and wanted the logo based on the infinity symbol. A watermark of two circles complements the infinity logo. The overall card design uses halves to separate contact information from the company info. The remaining conent is then placed using the golden mean. Green and white was chosen for an updated professional color palette, and the inifity logo is repeated in the design.

The Key Design
The center of the card is made the focus of attention by using bright vivid colors. The logo is then framed with black borders to provide periphory information, which does not distract the eye from the center. This design offers a sure instant reaction without having to read all the business information. The background is a closeup shot of a motherboard, with noticable circuitry lines to subtley edify the computer-related profession.

Wispy Personal Card
This is a personal card used to hand out to friends. The orignal photograph of the subject had lots of interesting clouds in the backgrounds, so I made it part of the design. Originally created for my son's playmates, this is a light, playful design suitable for any personal use. The address has been changed to protect the innocent... :)

Bloo Business Marble
Any serious design professional needs business cards, but choosing an existing design means having someone else's business image. Instead of picking out a pre-fabbed card, I decided to create my own and send them to a printer. Of course, I had to consider the CMYK color scheme and resolution considerations. This design was created in Photoshop using a 300dpi resolution.
